Find inspiration and motivation via APDO’s guest blog posts on the News & Media page or on social media on Twitter\, Facebook\, Instagram\, LinkedIn and YouTube as well as following APDO member’s social media accounts during the week using hashtag #NOW2022 #apdo. \nThe current cost of living crisis has impacted most households across the country in one way or another. Prices are rising everywhere – energy\, broadband\, fuel and more. As professional declutterers and organisers we use our knowledge and skills to help others get more organised across the core areas of their lives and to save money. \nFollowing the pandemic our homes are still where we spend most of our time. Making positive and impactful choices in the way we set up\, organised and maintain our homes will go a long way in helping to reduce waste and save energy. Daily household habits applied across different corners of our home will save you money\, time and energy. \n‘Heat the person not the place. Recycle\, upcycle\, and repurpose. SHOP well\, STORE neatly\, STOCK take\, SHED clutter\, SAVE money.’ \nWhy NOW?\nIf you’re feeling overwhelmed by clutter\, you’re not alone. APDO was set up 2004 in response to a growing nationwide interest in clutter-free living. But the tide of clutter has grown and today organising experts are busier than ever before. \nThe idea for NOW came about in 2014 whilst celebrating 10 years since APDO was founded – members wanted to raise awareness about the benefits of being organised. November was selected in order to enable you to declutter and organise before the end of the year and to begin the new one with more focus and clarity. \n
